FOOTAGE of the last confirmed sighting of missing Lee Brown has been released in a bid to trace the 24 year old who hasn’t been seen since getting off the Teesside Princess river cruiser in Stockton on Saturday night.
He was definitely spotted near to the River Tees Watersports Centre at about 11.25pm but has not been seen since.
The father of one from Middlesbrough was reported missing when he failed to make contact with family or friends and today (Thursday), Cleveland Police officers searched the area between Princess Diana Bridge and Tees Barrage with the Harbour Police.
Detective Inspector Glen Westmoreland said: “We hope that the release of the CCTV footage showing the last confirmed sighting of Lee may jog the memory of anyone who may have seen him on the evening of Saturday, April 25 or since then.
“Our concern for Lee’s welfare grows with each day that passes and we remain focussed on finding him. This is still an active missing person investigation.”
A spokeswoman said officers had already carried out extensive enquiries including combing the walkways around the river, speaking to Mr Brown’s close family and friends as well as speaking to revellers who were also on the boat on Saturday evening and as well as scrutinising films from several CCTV cameras.
Mr Brown is described as 6ft 5″ tall, blonde, with blue eyes and of muscular build. He has a panther tattoo on his left arm, a tiger tattoo on his right leg and the name ‘Harrison’ tattooed across his shoulders.
